V alentines Banquet Dinner at Stone House Bed & Breakfast
Saturday 13th February 2010, 7pm
Valentines Day Bed & Breakfast and Banquet Dinner for two - $229 Dinner Served at 7pm
About Valentines Day The story of St. Valentine has two different versions - Protestant and the Catholic. The most popular of these is the story of Saint Valentine being a bishop who lived around 270 AD holding secret marriages of soldiers in opposition to Claudius II who had prohibited marriage for young men at that time due to there being such a need for Roman soldiers to be recruited to protect the Roman empire from takeover. Claudius II felt it was better for the young men to be emotionally unattached in order to serve as a soldier, so he banned marriage. Now all around the world, we exchange cards and gifts of love to celebrate our romantic relationships.
We are excited to offer a banquet dinner for you and your family and friends to be held at the historic Stone House Bed & Breakfast at Chesaning.
This beautiful location is an idyllic romantic location to celebrate Valentine’s Day and we are delighted to be able to serve you.
British born American resident, Mrs. Reed, (R&R Confectionery / British Bites) has put together a delicious, delightful and decadent selection of food to tempt and delight you.
